Wholeheartedly agree with every single word of that.
New sealines have flexiteek or teak from new. I would choose flexiteek.

Went to the boat show a couple of years ago with my woodie friend and he thought the flexiteek display panel was wood!

Had it fitted last year, no one believes it's not the real thing, best money I've spent on the boat.

If its for your Broom 39 I know they fitted flexiteek to one earlier this year on south coast and will probably still have patterns as they supply the Broom Factory

Had it fitted to a speedboat a couple of months ago. You have to get down on your hands and knees to spot that it's not real teak. Even the lighter shade does get a bit hotter than real stuff though, and that's in the UK sun, so i'd certainly think twice about having it on a med boat.

How does it compare to Tek Deck or Deck King. Looked at both at SIBS and they both look pretty good

no no no! AFAIK, and true when i bought mine, only flexiteek has colour variations in it. Makes all the difference. Goes right through so if you sand it to repair damage the variation remains.

I had Flexiteek installed on Antares 30, they did a great job. It cleans up very easily and looks the same colour as the day it was installed.

Yes, should be down 7 is on Friday but have to be away by 11.30 on Sunday
