Hi all, . I discovered a crack in the rubber connecting the stern tube to the stern gland last march 1 week after lift in. I wrapped it in self amalgamating tape which worked well for the season but now that I`m lifted out its time for replacement. The internal diameter at the tube end is 46 mm while at the gland end is 42mm. It doesnt seem to have been stretched. Any ideas where I could scource a replacement. Preferably a website as I`m based in Ireland.

The stern tube rubber is NOT ordinary rubber piping and also has a thicker wall.

Portmere rubber supply and make stern tube hose which is Lloyds approved. Have a word they may be able to make one with your requirements.

Mine was slightly tight at one end and as the hose wall is about 1cm thick I was able to turn it down with a flap wheel on a drill. Your's is only 2mm too big so you might be able to do the same.
