What do we think of flexi teak or similiar products, it looks quite good to me but wondered how it wears in the longterm.
I am fed up of having to take wet carpet out of the boat to dry and thought it might be a good alternative.

why make life hard - stick with the carpet (i presume its the removable type with pop ons) its designed to get wet

looked at it long and hard... like teak it only looks good I think when its brilliantly laid. I notice quite a few boats with teak in fact just have some rectangular templates of teak stuck on.. no edging or curving. That looks pretty cheap too.
But even so, I ve never seen a TekDek that I ve thought wow, thats looks great. And to have it laid is bloody expensive, but then its very time consuming.
I certainly wouldnt put it in the cockpit. If you didnt have real teak anywhere, maybe it makes some sense on a bathing platform.
No, gotta be the real thing if you want to replace carpet!
