Fletcher unknown model....

p.s I am pretty sure its an arrowflyte, but its differnent to the ones i have seen in seating, interior and its missing the rails on the sides at the back, so im kinda confused!

Welcome to the forum.

Its difficult to say without more pictures, its possible its an early (Mid 70's) Fletcher Arrowflyte 140, but I need to see a picture of the deck and the hull.

What I can tell you is that its definately got a later 140 windscreen, seen on the Arrowflyte from the early 80's. The interior is all replacement, original 140 would have had back to back seating for 4 that converted into 2 sunloungers.

The engine is fantastic, as long as you like Etecs (which I do).

We had a 140 in the 80's with a 65hp Suzuki, Top speed was between high 30's and mid 40's depending on prop (mph).

OK, I think it is an early 140, with later screen and replacement seats and bench.

The floor isnt to my taste, but I would be more concerned about why its there. Fletchers are well known for rotten floors if the tread plate is a cover for a redone floor its fine, if its an attempt to hide/repair and trashed floor, it isnt.My other concern is the paint job, if its done well then great, if its not done well, it will fall off the 1st time you use it. Like all refurbished boats, its the quality of the work that matters.

IMHO the whole value of this boat is in the engine. Fletchers do hold value, but I have a feeling that its being valued at refurbishment cost, rather than actual value. So how much is it ?

its £1750, so I guess the engine would make up for any loss.... and I also dislike the floor, your point about rotten flooring may also be correct, in fact I had thought somthing similar, but I have to wonder why the owner would have a new e-tec fitted with all the gauges and remotes, if he knew it was no good? - although I guess he could have found out later, and bodged a restoration to sell it.... hmmmmm watcha think? aha!

The engine is worth that alone, assuming its serviced and running. Check the power tilt works, a new mech is North of £500.

I was expecting la la land numbers over 4k
