Hi, can anyone please tell me if you have ever seen or heard of a Fletcher 240 Arrowbolt ? As I have one for 3 years now but I can’t find an other. It has a merc 350 mag 5.7.
Please advise ?

Hi. Being a bit of a fletcher geek, as far as I know, officially there wasn’t an arrowbolt 24. The arrowbolt over the years usually came in only a few smaller sizes like 21/22 and maybe 20.
There is a larger zingaro model which some refer to as an arrowbolt, rightly or wrongly.
There is also a sport cruiser 238 (24ft) and a fletcher sport cruiser 25. Perhaps maybe thought of as an arrowbolt.
Biggest I know of after that was a fly bridge model, but larger than 24ft. Have a google at the 238 and 25 models. Most likely one of them. Slightly dated looking now but there likely won’t be much better hulls in this size category out there to date.

The 25 was an Arrowbolt, but only a few made - I've heard around 8, but at least 6 have appeared on eBay over the last 10 years. I know 2 previous owners and one still on the Dart.

Some do refer to the 238's as Arrowbolts, but I don't believe they were badged/sold as such.

If you use Facebook, there is a Fletcher group you can join: https://www.facebook.com/groups/4011883149/

Otherwise just a case of watching brokerages and more likely, eBay as they're at a value where many brokers aren't interested (i.e. under 10-15K)

There's a Zingaro for sale too for not a lot of £... (Not mine, but O/P can PM me for details if interested)

There was a Fletcher ZS of around that size too (forget exactly how big but think it was mid 20ft)

Here's me on a very early boat test of one! :D

The 240 was what they called a subtly improved version of the 238 sports cruiser. As stated; many people call these Arrowbolts but that's not technically correct.
The 240 is basically a 238 with a sliding perspex cabin door and a smaller wooden slatted bathing platform. I don't think they sold many before moving to the significantly different 25 Arrowbolts.
I have a brochure with one in somewhere. I'll post it up.
