Flavia Wayfarer cooker

I have just been offered a Flavia Wayfarer cooker new and unused and in its original packing. Does anyone out there have any knowledge of this cooker, any comments good or bad and any idea what it may have cost new a couple of years age (incredibly the manufacturer claims to have no idea what they cost new!!!!).

Is it not the Flavel Wayfarer cooker, with an oval door ? . If so it cost over £500 and has flame failure on all burners.

I had a flavel grill on my last boat for some 18 years -no problems until it rusted out! The most common is the Vanessa and again Flavel seem very cagey about giving any info on their products . I do know that if your cooker doesnt have flame failure devices on all burners its against the latest boat safety regs. However there must be thousands out there without.. I dont trust the glavanising on flavel products and paint ver with heat proff paint - it seems to work.
