I used to have a link to a list of signal codes where the meaning was linked to two flags rather than the normal single flag ( like code Y = dragging anchor , etc ). Unfortunately I have mislaid said link and haven't been able to google up an alternative either.

Does anyone have a link that they could post, or alternatively does anyone know which two-flag sinal indicates "I am deliberately aground and do not require assistance" ?

that'll be these then.

Meaning....... I am aground; I am not in danger

The choice is really only limited by your imagination!

Consider these alternatives: /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

PP - Keep well clear of me
UY - Carrying out exercises. Please keep clear
RS - No one is allowed on board.

If you're feeling high, you could try these: /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

SM - I am undergoing speed trials
TE - I am bottom trawling
VE - I am fumigating my vessel

If they still persist and their presence starts to become unbearably irritating, there is always:

SN - If you lower your boats or try to use the wireless I shall open fire!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
