anyone have a tin at home, i need to know the minimum application temp.
i am putting it on on thurs, but tin is at boat, so need to know before i drive an hour to the boat to find out its to cold

This is the datasheet I think but it doesn't appear to mention minimum application temperatures.

Not sure if this is very important though since temperature is more to do with ease of application than anything else IIRC. Warm the paint and stir, stir, stir.

Just checked the tin of Flag antifoul I have left from last year and it doesn't have any technical info on it.

I think you will have to resort to giving Flag a call if you feel conditions may be borderline.

[/ QUOTE ] You did not read this line near the top of the page then quote] (Scroll down to see the list of products. Click on product names for a PDF datasheet)

[/ QUOTE ] But first as it is Flagship you have to click the link just below there.

As Silkie says there is no minimum temperature given. However I checked a couple of International AFs and they give a temperature range of -5C to 35C with the qualification that the substrate temperature must be at least 1C above the dewpoint. I reckon you could take those figures as applicable but now you'll need a hygrometer to measure the dewpoint!

If it is cold then condensation on the surface from your breath could be a problem.

By the way I could not find the data sheets at first so you are not alone & I never did find the safety sheet!
