FJORD 27 prop?

i have a Fjord 27 boat with aft cabin the prop is on a shaft and is driven by a PENTA 32a 106hp im trying to get a 2nd prop or information to enable me to get one, as yet the boat is in the water i wanted to get another prop to swap over, saving two lifts with a crane, thanks for reading.

What gearbox? 16" is about max swing. A quick belt of PropCalc suggests 13 or 14" pitch with a 1.9:1 gearbox ratio.
Direction of rotation? I have a 13" pitch somewhere but it may be LH.

the boat will do 8mph at 3000rpm (flat out) so it looks like a 13inch would improve it quite a bit what was your boat like Andrew was it an md32a as well?

Only 8 mph at full chat with 106 hp - something is seriously wrong there! I would have thought you should be able to do about 12 - 14 knots easily......
I think Andrew used to have a Fjord 27, so I am sure he can give you excellent advice on this topic.

Quite right Martin (we never did manage that beer)

Don't run an MD32 n full chat for long, you will discover that spares are hard to get and that the head can go, notorious for it. Presupposing the bottom is clean and so forth 8 knots (I assume) is just a little over hull speed and does suggest the prop size needs looking at, or the prop is damaged in some way. Have you tried the engine out of gear to check max rpm? If you can check the prop then the size should be stamped on it somewhere.

the top end is 8mph 7knots the prop has a slight kink in one blade thats the reason i want a spare, i dont have a trailer so it would be better to lift the boat out and put another prop on then get mine repaired, what engine was in yours andrew?

200HP AD41, 1.91:1 gearbox 16" x 16" prop. I'm making enquiries as to where my sold 13" pitch prop went.
