Fixing Poppers

Got some luverly new stainless poppers to replace them ones that fell off - problem is, what to use to get them to burr over just like the professionals?

Rather than buying them individually, you should have bought a blister pack, which comes with a small round base, and a small round punch, then just hit with a hammer (if it's the type of poppers I think you mean?) Available from any chandlers or caravan or large camping store.

Cheaper to buy the blister pack than getting specialised equipment. Use the poppers that come in the blister pack to practice first, before doing it for real, preferably with on off cutt of similar thickness material.

You may screw up for first few attempts, but it's pretty easy after that, so worth practicing first.

You can buy press stud pliers cheaply, much easier to use and better results than the hammer method.
