Just in case you have forgotten about Dave and Louise and the Five Bells at Hessett...

Myself and the other three members of Blue Bark (see below) were over at Monkey Puzzle House recording studios checking it out as somewhere for our band's new album to be recorded.

We fancied a beer afterwards and popped in to the Five Bells, which was just down the road.

There are several upgrades there and we enjoyed a couple of decent pints and a wee dram of 15 year old Dalwhinnie.

Great to catch up with Dave and Louise again.

Maybe time for another shore based ECF event there......

Excuse the late reply but as you've now seen, things here are changing at a now fast and furious pace, so it's a bit difficult to keep up with everything else going on :o
Must admit it was a nice surprise to see you and the others, shame we couldn't have done some food for you but you know the reasons all too well now ;)
Things have moved on even more since your visit, and even those who have been here recently wouldn't recognise the place now, even the head brewer who came in this evening couldn't believe how much work we've put in to making this work, so we must be doing something right

Latest efforts have involved people as far away as North Wales and Lancashire getting involved, but the final push relies on one man and his horse box, making it to a pick up point in Bolton, at 09-00 this morning

Fingers crossed everyone please, if David can make it here as he hopes to do, by mid afternoon, then we can make the next big jump. Safe trip David

On a seperate note, Mr Smith, Roger, I can confirm your booking but unfortunately this rules you out of the free for two deal to be offered here soon ;)

Looking for a mystery customer to check out my staff when I'm not here, Mr Angry, if you like :D

Someone who hasn't been seen by the staff, but who I know, to follow an agreed pattern and see how they handle things when I'm away ;)

Clive, please don't take offence, but if you don't mind, I have you in mind for the mystery customer, so don't go making a booking without checking here first

Anyway, the countdown has well and truly started, just hope David has a safe journey and things improve for Richard and Enid

All the best folks, catch up soon

P.S. Nice boat Neil, don't forget to fit the ski to the keel, or maybe a wheel :D
