Hi All, I recently snaffled up some lleaching legs for my Cinder 22 and I am now looking at the rather daunting prospect of fitting the brackets, never has drilling four holes got me quite so jittery!!
Firstly, where!! snug below the rubbbing stray? where along the hull?
I had planned on putting a thin piece of rubber next to the hull, then the fitting externally with a thin metal plate over a piece of wood internally, does this sound about right?
Finallly, what dril bit to use? I dont mean size, I mean wood (obviously not a spade bit), metal, etc? I of course would pilot drill first.
Any advice is most welcome even if its to take it to the local boatyard!
Thanks
