I need some cables to fit a second Autohelm GPS. They don't manufacture the units anymore does anyone know a good dealer where I might get hold of some cables. I have phoned round but not had lot of success.

Use shielded 3 core cable and small push on connectors available from RS, Maplin etc or any Raymarine stockist or marine electrical retailer. If you are worried about moisture cover the pins and connectors with a dab of sealant.

Assuming you will use the second head unit as a repeater. ST50 head units come with male & female interconnects on flyleads so the head units can be daisy chained. Just cut the cable on the input lead (thats the one with the male plug) on one head unit and using chocolate blocks insert a length of screened cable to make the input cable the appropriate length
