I can recommend the Ramsgate Tandoori in Harbour Street.
That will deliver to the harbour area but you will have to be curate with the location.
We ordered whilst still at well out to sea late in the evening on our way back from Gravelines last year.
Very welcome and very tasty.
Won't be in Ramsgate for some while as we are still ashore up the Deben.
Still got some antifouling to stick on and some engine issues to address tomorrow before launch next weekend.

thanks clive for the info, now tucked up on the pontoon, just before the rain set in. Hope the bottom job goes well and a safe launch next weekend. Am sugesting anouncing peoples location for local meet ups. have a good season and hope to see you on the water

Funnily enough, just finished looking up tides etc for a crossing to Calais via Ramsgate during the two bank holiday weekend of the Queen's jubilee.
Tides wise, things look perfect for such a crossing.
Anyone else thinking of doing the same. Perhaps we can organize a flotilla crossing.

I expect to be in Calais by the friday before the late may (early June) bank holiday. Weather dependant will be off to Gravelines on the Sunday I expect.
Usually a big crowd of boats from lots of Essex / Suffolk clubs (c 200 boats in 2002 but last year probably only about 50). Usually get HMS Puncher (London URNU Patrol Boat) in to act as 'host' ship for the Little Ship Club (of London not DUnkirk Lettle Ships) rally.
