Panel is showing running hours but panel will not come on for start,

Worked last night after fiddling around I thought it might be a bit hot from main engine?

But all is cool now and refusing to switch power on

any ideas?

On my panda (8000 series) there is a very small fuse (0.5 amp) on the back of the panel that blows occasionally which if I remember would have the same symptoms as yours.

After fuse checking

Is there still an “off “ off .?

Or it’s bats dead .Hows it’s powered up to start it ?
House ? Or if dedicated - loose lead / dead it’s seeing no volts .

No fuse on back of control panel, one fuse on genartor of 25 amp for the stater

I am suspecting the relays might need to giggle them?

When I had something similar on my Mase 5.0 it was corrosion on the terminals. Once removed all was good in the world again. I had the same symptoms in I would get hours showing, but not even a click when I tried to start it.

If the generator has it's own battery then bear in mind smaller Fischer Panda units have no built-in means of charging the battery used to start it. I have a separate battery charger just for the generator battery that I have to remember to switch on when I use it. Just running the generator will drain the battery if you don't have a dedicated battery charger to keep it topped up.

If your unit uses the engine or domestic batteries then just ignore everything I've just said :)
