I am lifting my (new to me) boat out on Thurs. It is the first time I will have had to use a crane for a lift out having previously owned smaller boats. She is coming out at the local harbour and will be out for for 48 hrs only.

The boat is coppercoated so no need to re-antifoul, the lift out is merely for a power hose, anodes and inspection. I am trying to organise everything I may need so I can get everything done in the available time. The boat is 100 miles away from home so I need to bring everything with me, so far I have organised;

A petrol power hose with tank
A guy to take props away and polish/balance them
I have all anodes including bowthruster
Have some coppercoat incase I need to reapply in any areas
A ladder
Blocks and stands for boat to sit on.
Polisher and all the cleaning kit I need.

Is there anything I may have missed? Anything else I should be trying to do while she is out of the water?

do you know of any parts of the underwater hull which the lifting strops should not touch ? e.g. log impellers, intakes, which you may need to clean.

I 've got photos of the boat out of water with these points marked on them for future reference, and also "Lift here" stickers on the gunwhale.

The coppercoat will need to be rubbed down with abrasive sheets to continue working at its best.

You will neet abrasive sheets and a few supplies of elbow grease.

omega2 - He will remove props yes

Sarabande - I have photos of her out of the water and the gunwhales are marked with lifting points.

Miket & Bilgediver - I also was told that the coppercoat should be lightly abraded but I phoned coppercoat ppl and they told me just to hose it down. Its the oxidised (green) layer that does the actual antifouling and returning it to brown would mean this has to build up again. Coppercoat has only been on a year.

Yeh.
Chill out.
Admire Her lines.
Break out the Fags or a Joint.
Or the Ipod.
Order some Champagne, or whatever, for the lift in Party.
