First time boat - 1991 Sealine 190 - any thoughts welcome

AQ171 would be based on the Volvo 2,5 ltr 16 valve (4-cyl) car engine, producing some 167 hp and made 1986-89.

In a time when Volvo introduced series of new engines for their cars

Also in the 2,5 range was a ~225 hp 5 cyl used in 850's and later taken by Ford during their ownership, to be put in Ford Focus and then some. Robust and solid engine, loved by many.

Hi,

Looking at getting into boating after a few years of sitting on the sidelines.

Have found a 1991 Sealine 190S Attache near us in York UK. Re-engined in 2019 with a volvo AQ171C

Does anyone have any experience of this boat or engine?

Will be used on the river for at least the next year as we learn (comes with trailer).

I have a Sealine Attache 190 with a Volvo Penta 250A petrol engine. However, I have to replace the propeller but am unsure which is the correct model. Do you know?
