Hi all, this is my first attempt at posting pictures on the forum. My reason is to see if anyone can enlighten me with the capability of our new boat (inland waterways only or capable of coastal waters also) it is a wood construction with a length of 9 meters, width of 3,05 meters, weight 3,5 ton and a inboard 100 hp diesel engine. The boat was manufactured around 1980 but the maker or model is unknown. Here are the pictures:-

The lines, excluding the wheel house look very similar to the Chris Craft Cavalier of the 1960's. If so it would be constructed of plywood. There was also an American "Trojan" of a similar age and style.
I would hesitate to take a boat with so much "top hamper" to sea.
If it is one of the above I would put it down as lakes, rivers and may be estuaries.

Thanks Miket I will see if i can now find any info on the makes you suggest. As we are new to boating we will not be doing any coastal boating and it will only be used on european inland waterways but was just curious as the boat is presently moored in Lubeck germany which is on the coast.
