Please look at these links for the Ingress Park development, it looks like the first and only publicly accessible slipway is to finally be built on the Thames, I know I will be giving it my full support and write to Dartford Council explaining how important it is. A bit cheesy I know but if this gets the go ahead the tide will have turned on the loss of boating facilities for the Thames and you never know it may inspire further investment in other areas both up and down stream.

Correct but academic and addressable.

If you lived in North Kent and had a boat in your back garden that you couldn't launch without a long drive elsewhere wouldn't you be pleased that someone is going to finally build a slipway.

As to what happens with the trailor could be,
1. after feedback the developer allows for longer parking bays.
2. You unhitch and park it in the bay next to your boat.
3. You leave it on the slipway.
4. Or the developer doesn't bother building the thing due to negative feedback and lack of support.
