First day out / Boulters Inn

Had a great day out Sunday - Bray through to Cookham - about turn and back for lunch at Boulters Inn. Moored up on the wrong side of the laybye, with Ralph's permission of course, and a most enjoyable lunch on the Terrace Bar balcony. Lunch for three - Fish & chips, chicken & Chips, Lamb casserole & chips ( we like chips ) + dessert + bottle white and couple of beers £63.00 including tip. Even Sarah who manages too send most meals back gave 9 out of 10. Well done Boulters, great to have a stopover between Windsor & Cookham. Hope to see some forum members up there soon.

Well I went with the family to the Hungry Horse near Wallingford. We got mountains of food and it came to a few squids. In fact I think they may have paid us to eat there.

The Chinky in Wallingford also great on a Sunday lunch, all you can eat for £8 and a great spread to choose from..

Bit shallow, isnt it? How deep?

I have a draught just over 2 foot so i would guess it is shallow at say 2ft 6in. Hopefully when the pontoon development is finished they will dredge it out.
