We had booked a restaurant in Southsea for Sunday afternoon lunch and had intended to drive by car from the boat in Chichester but as the weather was so nice decided to go by boat for our first cruise of the year. We booked a short stay in Gun Wharf Quays and set off..
A 20 minute walk from Gun Wharf is http://www.rosies-vineyard.co.uk/ where we had an amazing Sunday roast with live Jazz playing. Can't recommend this place enough. Food, service and venue are outstanding, Don't let it's high st location put you off.
A 20 minute walk back to Gun Wharf 4 hours later and then off home back to Chichester.
A great unplanned first cruise. Roll on the summer.
