I have seen one with a badly cracked rudder just below lower pintle.
Horizontal crack both sides no sign of any other rudder damage. Big deep blade possibly getting overloaded.
Even when I sailed on a one year old you could tell they were very lightly built due to flexing of the cockpit sides when you braced against the winches. Winch could be seen to flexing deck under load.
They had to build them light otherwise it would have just been an ordinary displacement design.
There were some reports of problems with the keel lock down mechanism early on. Not heard if this was age related or had a redesign? Loved sailing it for a blast but not for me long term must be getting old......
