I have a Firemaster GTFE1000 Halon replacement FE-36 extinguisher on which the pressure is OK but the warranty has expired. Firemaster are no longer so in business so I can't send it back to them for a recharge, does anyone know whether it's possible to get it recharged elsewhere or must I fork out another £100 for a new one?
Thanks,

Halon is banned, except for a few military uses, by reason of its damage to the environment.

You will need to use one of the modern gases , or mixed suppressants.

I have CO2, and AFFF to keep life simple.

A Drop-in Halon automatic replacement.

Good point re the pressure being OK. However, it's difficult to just ignore the fact that the warranty has expired!

Suggest you look through yellow pages for local fire extinguisher service centre. They may be able to re-certify based on weight.
