The fridge cooling unit is fitted in a cuboard under the sink onboard and I'v just realised that should the fridge unit cause an electrical fire for any reason the first thing to go would be the reinforced poly sink waste hose which outlet is in the bottom of the cuboard some 12" below the waterline !! To ensure that the replacement hose offered by the chandlery is infact fire retardant can anyone advise of a BS or other identifying number that should be stamed on the hose ?

Cheers
