I am getting around to a tidy up job that I inherited when I bought the boat. I have 5 port lights with unfinished edges. They were hidden by blinds which have deteriorated badly and are to be scrapped. I want to finish the edges.

My thinking started with L shaped mouldings in teak but the corner pieces that I can find are U shaped and at about £15 each mean that I need £300 s worth to do the 5 windows assuming I can cut off the unwanted flange.

I have to deal with some corners that are not 90 degrees, do I just cut a piece off one 90 degree bend and add it to the other?

Is this the way to go or is there an alternative method or material that forumites could recommend?

I will be in Grenada for a month or two [ peak hurricane season ] so can order stuff in if required.

Have you tried K T Howells Their website lists door capping 9mm & 12mm rebate from £1.12 ft and various radius mouldings priced per item, they are a good company to deal with.
