Sat in a bar on my way to the channel islands to do my day skipper practical with PR Sailing - hoping for better weather than my channel crossing comp crew! Am a little bit apprehensive but also quite looking forward to it - I guess for some of the old hands on here such learning experiences are a long way off! Any good stories about your day skipper and what went right or even wrong?

One of my mates motored over the MOB, luckily didn't get caught in the propeller. He still passed, as he did it OK the next time.

Thanks! That's exactly the sort of thing - I should imagine that there are many many things people have done over the years some of which I may we'll repeat
