Having been surrounded by flood water all Friday Night and Saturday rampaging through Banbury, watching the water level rise very quickly, I hope you are all OK on the Thames.
On a lighter note here is a quote taken from another forum about the difference in flooding in the North and South
"This North/South bickering is not exactly what is needed right now. We should try and pull together to help each other out of the crisis.
In the South, the floods have made a greater impact on the news as beautiful, historic towns have been damaged, expensive properties and cars destroyed whereas in the North more personal things like wardrobes full of fake Burberry clothes, whippets and ford fiestas have been lost. We have all been affected so lets not scrap over who has been more hurt by this"
