Go to automotive>other vehicles>parts and accesories. Then search in that catagory. The site takes abit of getting used too. If you do a search from the front page, make sure you change the "search in" catagory.

Go to automotive then to other parts and vehicles,
Its a right pain to find anything on it!

Be warned, ebay attracts a some "scammers" who take your money and disappear. There was an article in a trade journal, EDN (http://www.e-insite.net/ednmag/), about it recently. When I circulated the story at work a colleague advised me that scammers often insist on payment via Western Union credit whereas honest individuals rarely do. It shouldn't put you off using ebay, the overwhelming majority of the sellers are honest but it's no compensation if you get stung, and if you do it is "caveat emptor".

Go to ebay home page, click on automotive then at very bottom of list on LHS of screen click on Other vehicle parts accesories etc.. When that page opens look in categories box on LHS and you'll see boats and watercraft. Click on that and you get at this moment 496 listings.

The heading for boats under the intial opening sequence is very poor because of the high commission rate charged for using that section.

If you continue to have difficulty these two links will take you to 1. Boats, all of the current listing and 2. Accessories, again all of the current listing. In both cases the listing starts with the items nearest to ending their auction. If you look towards the top of the page under the auction category there quick jumps to take you to items posted today, those that end today and those will be ending within the next hour or so.

There is usually a lot of rubbish together with some stuff you could buy cheaper elsewhere but sometimes some gems. I have bought quite often and never been ripped off yet (touch wood).

Good luck. Hope you find some bargains.

Just noticed that the links wrap to a second line. Be sure to copy and paste the entire individual link into the browser address window.

I 've been recenlty introduced to ebay by a freiend who is ADDICTED to it! He's been fitting out his Rival 38 with all sorts of things from SSB radio to sextants - all sourched from ebay. The trick I've found is to search for specific items like 'Garmin GPS' and see what it throws up.

.. and don't forget www.ebay.com for US listings.

I've found that many US sellers will ship to the UK even though their ads don't specifically mention it - so the items never appear on UK Ebay as 'available to the UK'

You'll have to add about 25% freight to the dollar price to get it into the UK.

I think the same search logic applies over there.
