Finding moorings on the continent (Portugal/Spain)

Has anyone sailed around Portugal during the last 12 months? And did you had trouble finding moorings in marinas?

I have just returned from a holiday in Portugal, during which I went to every marina that I happened to pass to check on the availability and cost of moorings. I was a bit concerned that every marina seemed to be full.

The staff said that many people bought boats during the pandemic and so marinas have little space.

Most Portuguese marinas offer winter deals so not surprised if they are full with visitors at the moment. During normal sailing season we've never been turned away.
