Sorry to pour rain on your parade, but we had all this in France last year and are now in Northern Spain.

I've been on the waiting list for a berth in Cap D'Agde, La Grande Motte & Port Camargue for 3 years now....there is generally a 5 year waiting list, according to the Capitaneries.

We managed to get a place May-Septmeber last year in Port Camargue, and even managed to extend it until 31st March this year (they were sub-letting me the berth of an absent owner, but they made it VERY clear at all times that I had to be out on 1st April as they were full (and came down to the pontoon to ensure I left!!!)

Port Camargue and Cap D'Agde are both replacing large sections of their pontoons, and so are holding all vacant spaces so they can move other boats around to free up whole arms at a time.

Good hunting!
