So on Saturday my 2 friends took me out for a sail...very light winds, but she impressed them by moving at 4-5 Knott's for 3 hours...
I put all the sails up, set the rigging, took the helm for a bit too.
We motored back in as the wind dropped and that was impressive too. She handles so predictable and precise..
Of course in a bit more windy it might be different..
I never had a "moment" and really felt at ease out there..
Looking forward to doing it again in 3 weeks time hopefully..
It's been an epic weekend with that and a couple of other things that have happened..

I shall add a couple of pics when I have resized them.

"really felt at ease" - as far as I'm concerned the trick is to build up experience carefully so you carry on feeling mostly at ease, just in more and more conditions and on more and more ambitious voyages. And it sounds like you made a great start on that. Have fun!

Yes. We are hoping to take her out again in a couple of weeks, possibly a couple of times.
Yes. Bit more windy so to experience a different side to her, it's just going to be gaining experience. I shall book the courses for next year now, ran out of time with that's happened this year and work pressures will ramp up soon.
