Finally got it bavaria 40

That's me finally taken ownership of Aquarius the bavaria 40 ,I've been waiting for months for the repairs getting done now they have all been approved by the surveyor the boat is and I can't wait to go sailing again just a pity I missed the Clyde scuttlebutt it's the first one I've missed for a few years hope you all had a great time

Don't worry John I'm sitting at home writing this. We had a good night last night but this morn it chucked it down and blew a hooley. I could hear the Arran ferry saying that it was blowing 28 knots from the NW so Portavadie was off. The forecast wasn't good, we did think about heading for Rothesay for the night but an 8 in the forecast for tomorrow meant it would be a bit dodgy for most getting home, especially me as the wind was to go South for while. No doubt it will be completely wrong and we will out be sitting kicking ourselves tomorrow. I had a good run back down to Ardrossan this afternoon with just a reefed jib hitting 8 knots at times.
I might take a run up tomorrow if you are around.
