Hoorah! I'm a boat owner again, finally completed the purchase of Excalibur, a Sunseeker Martinique 38.

Bit of a project this one, in need of some TLC but mechanincally and structually good. Currently still in Swansea, we have a working party planned this weeked then bringing her back to Portishead on Monday.

congratulations, they look the business ! Off to prep mine for a viewing this morning and have another one booked in for next weekend!

Good luck on the trip back.

Congratulations, awesome choice. I have seen one completed restored and upgraded and it looked very good. Great sea boats with good accomodation, serious boat all round. Please post some before and after pics of the refurb.

BTW, what engines has she got?

Cheers

Paul

Will do. she has AD41B's

When looking around we a doubt as to whether these would be man enough - the same HP as our 31ft Portofino but she did 28 knots in rough conditions, dirty.

The worst bit is she was left for some months with the front cover windows split so rain has leaked through into the mid cabin and has left a lot of water staining. Not had much joy finding some one to reline the cabin so going to have a crack at it with oxalic acid and an upholstery cleaner next weekend. I may end up only having to replace the actual headlining bit rather than the entire cabin.

Thanks to Marinereflections on this forum for his advice on how tackle this.

Congratulations on your new boat:)

Just had a look at your profile and your based about 5 miles from me. We'll have to meet up, have a beer or two and talk boats:)
