Finally a cure for seasickness? Has anyone tried these VR goggles?

Interesting idea though - perhaps better done as augmented reality, showing a virtual horizon on a pair of specs? . At a pinch one of those self-levelling rotary lasers shining a horizon around the cabin would probably help.
I can imagine it working if you're stuck in a stinking, hot engine room or galley in rough weather.

When I have done long trips I have used Scopoderm patches - used to be via the doctor but you can get them online. They contain hyoscine, I think the same ingredient as Kwells, but you stick them behind your ear and they do a slow but constant release over 72 hours. Brilliant things. Need to put them on a few hours before going to sea to allow the dose in your system to build up.
A game changer in my book. And no tree needed.
