Apart from staying on board until leaving for home on Friday we didn't get out again, which wa a real shame, still we had a good time in and around Weymouth, alot of the time simply chilling out enjoying not being at work /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

So Friday came and we started to head home we'd decided on the offshore passage round St Albans but although there was very little wind the sea was still in quite a state from the weather we'd had the previous few days, so we were quietly happy to come across 3 other boats heading towards the solent, as they were all bigger than us we tucked in behind them hoping for a slightly smoother ride, we were still very glad to get back into the calm waters of the Solent! We're any of the boats were you (I think a Sealine C39 a flybridge and another semi displacement style boat)

Anyway that was really all there was we did around 120nm, around 1/4 of what we'd hoped for still on the plus side we used less fuel /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I was quite pleased that the 60nm from Cowes to Weymouth including detour round Lymington cost £38 @45ppl /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Total hours we're just under 10 but we now have just over 100 hours on the clock, not to shabby for 13 months old /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Blimee Chas, how do get away with so few hours. Mines just about the same vintage as yours and I've got 185 hrs. Mind you the previuos owner did 97 of those. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Great pictures, by the way, if there's any more keep 'em coming.

Try moving house, getting married and going on honeymoon as a start, then stick a few exams in May and November. Then just to round things off on one of the nicest weekends we were at the IoW festival so again stayed on board for 4 days but very few hours!

Hoping to push it up a fair bit in the next couple of months /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh congrats on the channel crossing, fingers crossed I might manage it this year!!
