Filming in Weymouth harbour

Just had an email from harbour master. Apparently there's going to be filming taking place in the harbour between 26th-29th July, which at times means there will be restricted access & temporary berthing.

The harbour master operates on vhf ch12 & can give more accurate details.

Just thought I'd post just incase anyone's planning to visit on those dates

I was planning to go there so thanks for the heads up as now have time to change arrangements. It seems that it is Weymouth Lifeboat week 24th-30th july, also with lifeboat demos 24, 25, 29&30th.

No worries. I think the actual filming is taking place on 27th & 28th with the other days for preparation and packing away.

As said the harbour isn't on lockdown but at times movements will be restricted.

I believe the email mentioned that the life boat was being moved to another berth & likewise all the sailing club yachts on the swing moorings surrounding the lifeboat station are also being moved!
