Fiart - A record

It's rapidly approaching the value of it's engines and outdrives, which makes the hull worth not-a-lot.

How about buying a Sealine S28 with petrols and the Fiart, transplant those nice diesels into the Sealine, put the petrols into the Fiart, and ooops, dropped my cigarette lighter, whoomph, viking funeral with insurance... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Probably part of the reason Marine Sales went bust? I cant understand what possessed them to start importing boats with a name like that. If it was me, I would have insisted the factory rebadge the boats for english speaking markets

Trouble is, it now has little round marks on it where people have been touching it with barge poles.

Also, you can get a Glastron GS279 new for this price (granted, its a single engine).

It would be interesting to know what the build quality is like, and maybe a quality hull surveyor could help any prospective buyer here?

Finally, they must be desparate to sell by now, so could possibly accept a sub-£50k offer. At that level, you could obtain a twin diesel boat for rediculous money, with warrenty. Take the name badges off and call it something else, and claim it was made in the Eastern Bloc or summink!

This is a bargain for anyone who wants to transfer boating to the Med. The fiart name is hopeless in UK but is perfectly ok and widely recognised brand in the Med. This means you could probly get yourself a new 28footer twin diesel delivered to Med for £50k - that is an astonishing bargain.

Re: Fiart 28 pictures

Well I went on this boat a few years ago and thought it was quite nice. Problem was, as I told the nice salesman, that at £100k you could get a 30ft UK boat for the same cash.

Still, if I had £50k knocking around I might be tempted to do as JFM says. Anyone fancy going in halves or thirds?
