Hi All,

I need to tap into the fountain of knowledge..
My Boat has suffered a couple of minor 'nudges' and i need to replace a couple of fender eyes..

I really want to replace like-for-like obviously to match the existing ones and more importantly so i dont need to make any new holes in the GRP..

Anyone know any good suppliers who do a variety of sizes.
Mine are quite chunky for a 23ft boat (shetland black prince) and im measuring them at 45x36 overall with a 4 screw fitting.

Anyway if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as having one each side broken is a pain at best.

thanks people,

Nick

Thanks Guys.. ASAP doesnt seem to stock the same size ones but i'll give them a try...

I'll have a natter with Stainless Direct too.

Only thing that concerned me about Stainless was that the ally ones seem to snap if given a serious blow which is good as it doesn't damage the mountings.. I take it Stainless would be more resilient?

The metal brackets that screw along the side of the deck on a motorboat that you hang your fenders from.

Saily boats seem to have that guard-wire thingy to hang theirs from. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You could also contact Midland Marine.
Wholesalers to the Marine Trade.
01758 822067.
Don't think they will supply You direct but I,m sure they will have what You need.
If so give Me a shout and I can organise Delivery.
Cheers
