Not sure if this is the best place to post this info.
I was at the Harwich Haven Authority Leisure Users meeting today, and our attention was brought to the above Notice to mariners, which is relevant for 4 months from 1st April

If you sail between the Deben and Harwich it is important to check this out, as there are going to be new navigational hazards off Felixstowe during the period.

Check on the HHA website www.hha.co.uk

The NTM is on the homepage under Notices towards the bottom of the page. It is a PDF file.

Glad to be of assistance /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Some further information.

Ferry Line are restarting the Ostend Ipswich service from 1st April with 2 sailings daily, so there will be more shipping in the Orwell again.

The Halfpenny Pier pontoon in Harwich is opening again on Good Friday, we had a chat in the cafe with the friendly berthmaster, and he said the fendering was going to be improved also. He is keen to make it more yacht friendly.

Cannot get the info. Loads the Harwich site but does not load the "notice" and is it "news" links?. Never had a problem on other sites but I guess it must be something on my computer....unless Has anyone else had the problem??

Any chance someone will post the notice on to here?

I had the same problem with the site today, was working fine yesterday.
It was mentioned yesterday that they had had some problems with their website, but they thought it was sorted, it seems not.
The notice is a pdf file so not sure how easy it would be to post ?
