Feeling Owners - Swap My In Mast Furling For your Slab Reefing

I have a feeling 416DI, which comes with an in mast furling system. It works fine and is great when short handed.

I really wanted Traditional Slab reefing Main With battens when bought this boat, but there where non available.

Hence I am looking to Find others who have Slab reefing Mains who want to swap to In mast furling. Mast is about 17m. More details on request.

Sorry if I will ask something very obvious but when I bought my boat with in mast furling main I only found out this after a few months.
If you have a sparcraft mast these usually offers both options. In mast and traditional. I hope you were more careful than me to see this!!!!

Thanks for your comments. I was well aware before I bought the boat.

The external track on the mast is only suitable for a Storm trysail and we tried various options on price before purchase.

We have also investigating modifications to the mast but this adds weight and bulk. They also cost as much as a new mast!

The challenge was the very limited number of 416 di's yachts available within my price range.
