I have some cracks in the windows of my Feeling 1090 plus a few leaks so I am planning to renew the Plexiglass and seals.

Has anybody any experience of removing and replacement of these window or does anybody know of a professional or boat yard with experience?

Frank,
Sorry I cant answer your question, but I'm just about to complete the purchase of a 1988 Feeling 1090. You're not accepting messages, but I would appreciate picking your brains on other matters.
Please drop me line.

There's guy in my club, who got some damage on a Feeling on a crossing to Cherbourg. It was apparently sorted out very quickly and well there, because they have more experience with Feelings than we have in the UK - so if you wanted to combine it with a booze cruise!

I have a Feeling Club 850 from 86 and the keel bolts are a problem. According to the old owner the keel/hull joint has always weeped. Another Feeling I know has had them replaced. I checked mine with a magnet and they are not rust-free steel....

...and they shouldn't !

Many manufacturers do not use stainless steel, as it shows crevice corrosion due to the lack of air (oxygene) around the keel bolts.

As to the weeping - my keel bolts were weeping out between keel and hull at one spot as long as I had my Feeling 720, but it was never a problem !
