Thanks to the advice given by Mirelle and others on this board the heater seems to be going a treat. So far I have managed to keep it going in 25 knots by turning up both the fuel and the air assist fan. What a dream of fire, we spent most of Saturday evening just watching the flames dance as we sat in t-shirts, and drinking the odd glass, of course.
We have also recently replaced our 35lb CQR of 10 years with a 20kg Spade and after a few limited trials I'm impressed. It self stows which has long been a bete noir with the CQR and so far it has set first time each we have put it down and stayed set. We've not sat out a hurricane yet but so far it has exceeded my expectations.
