I asked for advice last week about a company that would actually do a repair on my car-type radio.
A furumite suggested a company in Bath - http://www.mapleaudio.co.uk/
They have now fixed my radio for £35 and would have returned it if I had refused the quote - without charge.
Can't hope for better than that !
