What are peoples favourite nautical sayings?

Things like

"if the wind comes before the rain you will soon make sail again but if rain comes before the wind then your sheets and halyards mend"

or

"Long forcast long last, short forcast soon past"

There must be lots of gems out there!

Two I like most are;

One hand for the boat and one your yourself!

When asked how was the trip I generally reply "oh, the usual, up and down..."

If red and green you ahead, starboard wheel and show your red.

If one white light you see ahead, slow down look out or you'll both be dead.

"Who pushed me"? This one only applies to Catamarans.

Trimaran, yacht with training wheels.
