Strange .. I'd read that a JPK 11.80 had been reported as winning earlier this afternoon but then got distracted looking at prices for those boats.

It didn't occur to me that the winners were British nor did it stand out in the article.

Well done to Sunrise and crew, winning the IRC classes (there are other classes as well in the race).
But in a French built boat. And sad indictment of UK offshore racing that this is the first UK winner for nearly 20 years, of the premier UK offshore race. In previous years we have struggled to win any of the classes, let alone IRC overall.
