Farewell, with regret...

To our MOBO...

Sale completed today, got her away at 90. % of asking price in 3 months from first listing.

Would have happened a month ago but a 'waste of space' went all the way and then pulled out just before he had to part with any money.

So the old saying about the two best days just doesn't feel true to us. Our first boat who we have learned on and loved to own. Quite a sad feeling as we said farewell, but planning to get straight back into he market, but with string and flappy things.

( more time and less money....)

So are our feelings in line with others?

I bought my first boat in 2006, which was great. Sailed it to Malta and back, which was great. Sold it in 2010 for a fair bit less than I paid, but it sorted out a short term blip in my finances, so that was great as well!

Bought a bigger house later that year,mand the current narrowboat a year later - which wouldn't have happened if I hadn't sold Rogue.

In reality, the best days were in Majorca and Sicily in 2007!
