Sustained W/NW winds from the Gulf of Lion expected to build up a 35' sea.

we had peaks of Force 9 here last night
LOL I tought I was doing Reggie Fountain in bed or was I

my house looks to the North West directly and is quite open here with that wind, but wind was strange with 90 degrees changing direction from NE to NW
 
Can't imagine a force 9 off Malta, this is me last year.......

eh you can and Blue Lagoon in Comino as in your picture with the Majjistral (NW) is one of the worst places to be, as it is like opening the tap to a tub you are literrally shooted
I saw this in Force 5 so Force 9 would be much worse

Sailed into Malta on a cruise ship last year.

We were blown away by how absolutely beautifull it looked from the sea.

The whole harbour and surrounding area looked like it had been covered in gold leaf. Absolutely stunning.

C,mon,this must be a wind up,as any fule kno from this forum,the Med is 25 hours of 40C sunshine 356 days of the year. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
