Can confirm that cleaning pays dividends - spent three weekends from dawn to dusk back in the spring (including my birthday, sniff....) up to my ears in antifoul, teak oil, rust remover & Flash wipes, boat sold in less than six weeks!

And ps might not have bothered if not for oft-repeated forum advice on the subject - you were all quite right!

Well at least there's now a picture of a boat.

When that advert was first posted a few days ago, there was only 1 picture, and that was of the trailer, which is not even included in the sale.

We must encourage more people to advertise on ebay with poor pictures and poor descritions. These are the items that we can buy at bargain prices. If everything was spick and span, well described and sold for top price, then I wouldn't be buying much from ebay.
