An elderly friend of mine is shortly to become a grandfather and at the same time assume new administrative responsibilities as local sailing club dogsbody whilst struggling to keep down a full time job and cruise his boat 250miles from his residence. He also has significant gardening duties and often performs a hectic evening's busking to supplement his meagre income. Is the auld plonker taking on too much?

Get him to start asking other club members to help out, usually they are happy to help and just need asking.

This is also a way of getting more potential committee members as they are gently broken into the workings of Club life

Jamesie - I see that I appear tae be the focus o' this latest wee bittie daft nansense.

Whilst being uncommon touched by your concerns - I'd ask ye tae leave ma sex life oot o' this

I thought "gardening" was a euphemism for sex life <g>
