I am reliably informed that the marina has bought land on the south bank and will be putting in pontoons, a car park and dinghy rack so that the moorings can be accessed from the south.
Any idea how quickly? Don't suppose the pontoon will be in situ by Sat 20 Apr?
The pontoons are stacked up in readiness but we stopped by on Monday and there were only two boats on moorings so things are obviously a bit behind this year.
Is there anything of interest for visitors on the South shore or will North Fambridge remain the main port of call?
